Item AT0511:    A Great George Harrison Autograph on the title page from his I ME MINE Book !!!    Offered is a very nice George Harrison Autograph that was signed on the title page from his autobiography, I ME MINE!!!  I ME MINE was first published in 1980 and this page was likely signed right after the book's publication.  It was beautifully autographed personally by George Harrison in black fine point marker.  The page was originally removed from a copy of I ME MINE for George to autograph.   George wrote "Best wishes, from" at the top of the page, then signed his name, then under the book's title, he additionally signed the Sanskrit symbol.   The page measures approximately 5.75" wide by 9.25" tall. The signature is approx 3.25" wide, a very nice example!!!  The autographed page was removed from it's matting as we obtained it already framed.  The page was folded in half for framing and there is some light yellow discoloration around where the original matting opening was located.  It could easily be re-framed and matted so this will not show at all!!!  The matte opening area measures approx 5.25" wide by 3.75" tall.  This item has been visually seen by Frank Caiazzo of The Beatles Autographs and is deemed 100% authentic!!!  The buyer may also purchase an LOA from Frank Caiazzo for an additional $125 fee.  Click on the image below to see the image full sized.

Item AT000:    A Fully Autographed Beatles Capitol Records Promotional Photograph signed on February 18th, 1964 with Written Provenance from the Original Owner !!! Offered is one of the coolest signed Beatles photographs we've ever had!   Each of The Beatles has signed this B/W 8" x 10" Capitol Records promotional photograph on February 18th, 1964 whilst on vacation in Miami Beach, Florida, USA.   Each has signed in green ballpoint pen:  Ringo Starr signed just over his head,  while John Lennon, Paul McCartney and George Harrison each signed beneath their feet.   The signatures aren't the darkest ones ever signed, but they are all still clearly visible.  This is a professional glossy photograph, and because of that, ballpoint pens tend to skip somewhat on a shiny surfaces such as this.  In person, the autographs are clearly visible, much better than what our scan shows.  The impression of each signature is also clearly visible when viewing the photograph in person.  Signed 8x10 photographs of The Beatles are quite rare to find these days, but Beatles signed Capitol Records promotional photographs are almost impossible to find!   It is especially rare to find a signed photograph that has the provenance this piece has!!!  The original obtainer of the autographs was written a 3 page write-up of how and when the autographs were obtained.  That synopsis is shown below.  Please click on any of the images below to see the picture full-size.  Frank Caiazzo of The Beatles Autographs has examined this signed Beatles photograph and given his approval that the signatures are 100% authentic!   This item will be accompanied with a Letter Of Authenticity (LOA) from the number one Beatles autograph expert in the world, Frank Caiazzo of The Beatles Autographs.  Please see below a scan of the LOA.  The overall condition of the photograph is Very Good to Very Good-, as there are tape marks/stains in each corner and a small cutout of the white border on the right side of the photograph.  The bottom edge of the photograph also appears to have been slightly cropped.  Please note that a professional paper restorer could remove these tape stains and border cut without much trouble, and improve the condition of the piece easily to Very Good+.  We can provide a professional reference for one if desired.  With the 50th anniversary of The Beatles First Visit to America coming up soon in 2014,  we can only speculate that the prices of such gems as this will only continue to escalate at that time.  Click on the image below to see the image full sized.

Item AT0506:    A Set of 4 Beatles Autographs on a Parlophone Records Promotional Card from 1963!!!    Offered is a super nice set of 1963 Beatles Autographs signed on a rare First Issue Beatles Parlophone Records Promotional Photocard!!   The Beatles signed very few of these early Parlophone promotional picture cards so they are a real treat to find, with exceptional examples of their handwriting!!   In October of 1962, when The Beatles released their first single "Love Me Do", their new record company, Parlophone Records,  produced a small quantity of promotional photocards in 2 formats - a horizontal and a vertical, both with pictures being shot by Dezo Hoffman while The Beatles were in the studio. Almost all of these cards were signed on the reverse, because there was very little light area on the front of the cards for their signatures.   The Beatles signed this “vertical” format photocard on the reverse side in dark blue ink pen and blue fountain pen.  The photocard measures approx. 3.5”wide by 7.75” tall and is in Very Good- condition, although there are several creases in the card, a small pin hole at the top, a 1/2" tear from the top center down however the tear does not go into the autographs.  There are also signs on handling and some light soiling on the back side of the card.  None of the condition flaws affect the signatures though.  Both front and reverse sides are shown below.  The signatures are quite bold and none of the signatures overlap and would make an awesome display piece!  Each Beatle has signed beautifully on the reverse side of this very rare Parlophone Records promo photocard.  Ringo Starr and George Harrison have each signed in dark blue ballpoint pen while John Lennon and Paul McCartney have each signed in blue fountain pen.  Ringo has also penned "To Sandra, Love" at the top of the card.  This autographed Parlophone Promotional Photocard has major historic significance as it was signed only months after the release of their first single Love Me Do on October 5, 1962.  Love Me Do reached Number 17 on the UK Single Charts and was quite an accomplishment for the band at that time.  Little did they know then that their next single, Please Please Me,  would hit Number 1 on February 22, 1963 as would all subsequent single records they would release!!!   Please note that the 'J' in John and the 'G' in George would change dramatically by mid 1963 forward so this early style of their signatures are quite rare and desirable amongst collectors.  This Set of Beatles Autographs was signed around February 1963.  This item will be accompanied by a Letter of Authenticity from Frank Caiazzo of The Beatles Autographs.

Item AT004:    A Complete Set of Beatles Autographs on 1 Page!!!  Offered is a very nice set of autographs by all four Beatles!!! A light blue page from an autograph book which has been signed by The Beatles in dark blue ballpoint pen. Paul McCartney has added the word ‘Beatles’ above his name. The signatures were obtain in Margate on July 8th 1963. Comes with a letter from the original recipient. Measures approximately 4.5 " x 4". The signatures have had some water staining professionally restored. The water staining affects the letter ‘Y’ in McCartney and the letters ‘NNON’ in Lennon. Very good minus condition. Still an awesome set of all 4 signatures on 1 page at a great price!!!!  This set would frame up really nicely for a super display piece for your home or office!!  This item will be accompanied with a Letter of Authenticity from Frank Caiazzo of The Beatles Autographs and Tracks, UK.

Offered is a super nice set of 1962 Beatles Autographs signed on a rare First Issue Beatles Parlophone Promotional Photocard!!   The Beatles signed very few of these early Parlophone promotional picture cards so they are a real treat to find, especially when they are in nice condition with exceptional examples of their handwriting!! Each Beatle has signed beautifully on the reverse side of this very rare Parlophone Records promo photocard.  George Harrison, John Lennon and Ringo Starr have each signed in various shades of blue ballpoint pen while Paul McCartney has signed in dark blue fountain pen.  This autographed Parlophone Promotional Photocard has major historic significance as it was signed right after the release of their first single Love Me Do on October 5, 1962. Frank Caiazzo of The Beatles Autographs has authenticated this autograph set and states it was signed in late 1962, per his Letter Of Authenticity.  This particular autograph set was also featured in Frank Caiazzo’s in-depth article on Beatles Autograph Collecting in the October and November 1995 issues of Autograph Collector Magazine!  That entire article is also reprinted by permission in our Autograph Examples section of our website.   Mr. Caiazzo’s LOA (Letter of Authenticity) is included  with the purchase of this autograph set and is pictured below.

The Beatles signed this “vertical” format photocard on the reverse side in blue ink pen and blue fountain pen.  The photocard measures approx. 3.5”wide by 7.75” tall and is in Excellent condition, both front and reverse sides as shown below.  The signatures are quite bold and none of the signatures overlap.

This item has been authenticated by Frank Caiazzo of The Beatles Autographs.   This item will be accompanied with a Letter Of Authenticity from the Number 1 Beatles Autograph Expert in the world, Frank Caiazzo of The Beatles Autographs/.  From The Lisa Lebow Collection.

Item AT0500:    A Gorgeous JOHN LENNON Autographed BANK CHECK drawn on the account MACLEN MUSIC LTD  on July 7, 1970 !!!  Offered is a rare District Bank Limited check signed by John Lennon on July 7, 1970!!   A two toned pink bank check measuring approximately 8" x 4" which has been boldly signed by John Lennon in black felt tip pen.   The signature of John Lennon meaures 4½" long, which is very large for a Lennon autograph!!!  The check has been made out in another hand to "Audiotek" in the amount of £156-154-0.  Overall the check is in Excellent condition. There are staple holes in the upper left corner of the check, but no other condition issues.  The bank cancel stamps which include the oval ink stamp, the 2 vertical black lines and a red ink pen mark, all do not affect the John Lennon signature hardly at all.  The Lennon autograph is big and bold!!!  Both front and backsides are shown below.  This item will be accompanied by a Letter of Authenticity from Frank Caiazzo of The Beatles Autographs - see below.

2015 BeatleBay Policies and Procedures

By registering with BeatleBay or by simply buying or selling items with us, Buyers and Sellers agree to the following Policies, Procedures, Rules and Regulations*.

*subject to change without prior notice

Buyers:

1.  Anyone can buy items on BeatleBay but you should first register with us.

2.  A prospective buyer submits a request to purchase an item.   After request is received and verified,  item is placed 'on hold' by BeatleBay.

3.  BeatleBay notifies seller that a buyer has been located.  If buyer is located outside the continental USA, seller will determine actual shipping/insurance charges.  The shipping charges are added to the sales amount payable by the buyer.

4.  The buyer sends all payments directly to BeatleBay.  This must be in the form of a money order, cashier's check or bank wire transfer.  We now accept VISA and Mastercard payments via PayPal for USA domestic customers.  See item 13 for additional information on VISA and Mastercard payments.  Personal checks will not be accepted and will void the sales contract.  Payment must include the seller's shipping/insurance charges.

5.  Once payment is received,  it is deposited into BeatleBay's non-interest bearing escrow account.

6.  Once funds are secured,  BeatleBay then notifies the seller that funds are received and cleared,  then instructs seller to mail item to buyer.  BeatleBay forwards buyer's mailing address to seller.

7.  Since BeatleBay assumes no responsibility for lost, stolen or damaged mail,  sellers should always pack their items to minimize damage risk which could occur during shipment.   BeatleBay recommends double-boxing all items to reduce damage risk.  A tracking number is required for all mailing of merchandise.  Seller agrees to purchase a tracking number for all shipments and communicate that number to BeatleBay once shipped.  Tracking numbers are available from the United States Postal Service, United Parcel Service and Federal Express.

8.  All shipping costs such as packaging materials, delivery service fees,  merchandise insurance and all other related costs are the responsibility of the buyer and seller.

9.  Once buyer receives item,  buyer has 48 hours to notify BeatleBay that the item is satisfactory or not.  If buyer does not notify BeatleBay within 48 hours of receipt of merchandise,  the buyer, by default,  agrees the received merchandise is satisfactory and BeatleBay will mark the lot as 'sold'.   BeatleBay will then mail payment to seller within 3 business days.

  • If, within the inspection period, the buyer deems the item not satisfactory for any reason,  buyer must notify BeatleBay within 48 hours of receipt,  then, within 24 hours, repack and return item in the exact same condition as received at the buyer's expense.   The buyer must also reimburse the seller for all shipping and insurance costs incurred to originally mail the item to the buyer;  the seller must provide BeatleBay a receipt detailing his shipping and insurance costs and these costs will be deducted from the buyer's reimbursement.   Buyer is required to purchase a shipment tracking number prior to shipping and communicate this information to BeatleBay on the day it was shipped.  Additionally, since BeatleBay assumes no responsibility for lost, stolen or damaged mail, the buyer is urged to purchase insurance with the delivery carrier to cover the actual value of the merchandise in case of damage or loss during shipment.  Once the seller receives item back in the exact same condition,  they  notify BeatleBay of such and the buyer's funds are refunded to them less the original shipping/insurance charges incurred by the seller.   If the buyer damages or lessens the condition of any received item,  the buyer cannot return the item and must purchase.

  • If item is satisfactory, the buyer notifies BeatleBay or lets the 48 hour inspection period lapse,  then BeatleBay forwards payment to seller.  Item is marked 'sold' and removed from the active inventory.

10.  Since BeatleBay will not have items to examine in person,  BeatleBay cannot guarantee that every item sold on BeatleBay is 100% authentic although you can be assured that our panel of experts have done their very best to weed out the junk.   Since BeatleBay assumes no responsibility for counterfeit or bootleg items sold,  it is the buyer's responsibility to make the final determination of authenticity during the buyer's inspection period (see item 9).   However, all Beatles autographs listed on BeatleBay are guaranteed to be 100% authentic.  We feel that BeatleBay's unique authentication service coupled with our buyer inspection period provides a service like no other company can offer.   Buy with confidence!

11.  BeatleBay has NO buyers premium.  The price listed is the price you pay!!!  The only additional costs are shipping charges.

12.  Buyers agree to pay for their purchases within 5 business days of sale with a money order,  certified bank check or by bank wire transfer.   Due to the long delay in receiving overseas mail, overseas customers must pay by bank wire transfer or express mail delivery within 5 business days.  Bank wire transfer customers are charged an additional $18 fee per wire transfer to cover our $18 bank charge for receiving wire transfers.

13.  You may now pay us securely using any of 4 major credit cards through PAYPAL.COM    PayPal is now an Ebay® company so you can rest assured it is extremely secure!   We now accept credit card payments via PayPal for Domestic and International customers!  PayPal is a totally secure way of paying for your Beatles items and it is simple to use.  After signing up with PayPal you simply direct your PayPal payment to Sales@BeatleBay.com    Click on the logo below for more information or to sign up with PayPal.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: We can only accept Paypal payments from clients who have Confirmed Addresses.  Currently, all international clients cannot use Paypal to pay for their purchases; international clients must send payments via Bank Wire Transfers.  Until Paypal changes their current procedure to allow international clients to have confirmed addresses, we must insist on payment via Bank Wire Transfers for all international customer purchases.  International customers who have purchased from us numerous times in the past can continue to pay using Paypal.  If BeatleBay does not adhere to Paypal's strict seller policies, procedures and requirements,  BeatleBay loses all Paypal seller protection coverage.  Please contact Paypal directly if you would like more detailed information on this issue.

I accept payment through PayPal!, the #1 online payment service!

14. BeatleBay Layaway Plans:  BeatleBay now offer buyers a layaway plan for expensive items they wish to purchase over time.  Our Basic Plan:  you pay 1/3 down, with 1/3 due in 30 days and the last 1/3 due in 60 days.  Our Custom Plan:  we can accommodate our clients needs by allowing up to 6 months to pay off a purchase.  Items must be at least $1,000 to qualify for the layaway plans, and at least $2,000 to qualify for a 6 month layaway.  Important Note: we cannot offer any refunds, exchanges or returns on any layaway purchase!  Don't ask!!   If the buyer does not honor the layaway contract after making payments to BeatleBay, BeatleBay has the right to retain 100% of the amount already paid to us.  We will not reimburse any buyer for any amount already paid towards a layaway purchase if they choose to stop making payments for any reason whatsoever.  This change is effective January 1, 2005.   Additionally, for all items purchased using our Layaway Plan,  we cannot honor our 48 hr. inspection period nor our standard return policy since the item could have been sold to another party within the layaway plan period - thank you.

Sellers:

1.  Anyone can sell items on BeatleBay but you should first register with us.

2.  A prospective seller fills out the Item to sell form completely describing the item to sell,  the exact condition of the item,  dimensions of the item,  the price, the internet location (URL) containing at least one photograph of the item and the estimated shipping/insurance costs to the buyer (continental USA locations only).  Seller then submits this information to BeatleBay.  Photographs of your item are required.  If the seller does not have the ability to include digital photographs via email,  BeatleBay will accept regular photographs via normal mail and scan them into digital format at no charge.

3.  BeatleBay receives the request and will proceed to examine the item and determine it's authenticity usually within 24 hours.  Items deemed to be counterfeit, bootleg, questionable in nature, or excessive in price will not be listed on BeatleBay.  BeatleBay reserves the right to reject any item for any reason and will notify the seller of such.  Since BeatleBay will not have items to examine in person,  BeatleBay cannot guarantee that every item sold on BeatleBay is 100% authentic although you can be assured that our panel of experts have done their very best to weed out the junk.   However, all Beatles autographs listed on BeatleBay are guaranteed to be 100% authentic.  We feel that BeatleBay's unique authentication service coupled with our buyer inspection period provides a service like no other company can offer.

4.  Once an item is accepted,  BeatleBay will categorize the item, list on it's website and notify the seller of such.

5. For most items valued over $1,000 USD,  sellers must sign a Sales Exclusivity Contract with BeatleBay.  This means sellers cannot offer their item(s) for sale with any other brokers or use other selling methods for at least a  90 day period.   This time period is negotiable and will be determined at the time of listing.  In return for exclusivity, BeatleBay provides advertising of your item(s) to thousands of potential BeatleBay clients.

6.  BeatleBay assumes no responsibility for lost or stolen mail.  Sellers should always pack their items to minimize damage risk which could occur during shipment.  BeatleBay recommends double-boxing all items to reduce damage risk.  A tracking number is required for all mailing of merchandise.  Seller agrees to purchase a tracking number prior to shipment and communicate that number to BeatleBay on the day merchandise was shipped.  Tracking numbers are available from the United States Postal Service, United Parcel Service and Federal Express.  Since BeatleBay assumes no responsibility for lost, stolen or damaged mail, the seller is urged to purchase insurance with the delivery carrier to cover the actual value of the merchandise in case of damage or loss during shipment.

7.  BeatleBay does not charge any listing fees.  You can list your items for free on BeatleBay,   plus your items stay online until they sell !!  What could be easier?

8.  Consignors and Sellers pay a structured commission to BeatleBay on all sold items beginning January 1st 2012.  This structure is as follows:  $10 to $1,000 - BeatleBay charges a 33% commission.  $1,001 up to $10,000 - BeatleBay charges 28% commission.   $10,001 and up - BeatleBay charges a 23% commission.    Sellers may elect to be paid by company check or by PayPal secure services.  Click the logo under item 13 of the Buyers section for more information on PayPal.
